“Unusually, I actually enjoyed the conference. Most conferences are informative or you're there to deliver some content, but yours was genuinely enjoyable too. What I really liked in this conference is real world examples, so I was just talking to Olle Blidholm, Ikea about how I can go back to my business and say, we can change the supply chain and give examples of other companies that have really done it. So I have tactical advantage now by comparing to other businesses. The other thing that I would like to say is that it was a mixture of technical, so how other people have approached real problems with real life examples. It’s a combination of both of them.”

Vitality Director

“This was a great opportunity to network with the leading actors who drive sustainable water use”

Global Head of Safety Health and Environment
Nestle Vevey

“We found that this was a unique networking opportunity and it was also very valuable in providing an insight into how well known everyday brands and businesses are thinking about water. Its value both economically and environmentally and how it can be affected by 21st century business.”

Environmental Statistician
RPS Water

“Im here at the conference today and its been an extremely valuable conference from our point of view of learning exactly what the industry is thinking of doing on water footprints. Looking forward they are looking at measuring it and treating it.”

Manager, Industrial Sales

“It has created some confidence for Ikea and it has created some insights on water footprinting. It has given some signal that we are on the right way, in our work that we are doing in Ikea. So all in all it has been inspiring also.”

Development manager - Social & Environmental Affairs
IKEA Group

“Learnt a lot!”

Environmental Supply Chain Manager
H & M

“It was very interesting. I think had some very good statements especially from industry or business side.”

Projects Co-ordinator
European Water Partnership

“I found the conference very interesting, good networking opportunities and a good cross section of consultants, people from the industry, academic interest, people with practical interest. I think its an emerging field and I think a lot of people are not quite sure what they are doing or why they are doing it. So I think that’s been reflected in some of the presentations. There is some uncertainity on where people are going with it but have come along and are saying what they are doing and there is room for suggestions to change. So I found it intellectually stimulating.”

Senior Lecturer
Cranfield University

“It was very useful”

Group Head - Development & Projects
